How do I book a ticket for a show?
All tickets for our shows are online, so you can purchase yours at the online box office – www.majestic-tickets.co.uk Alternatively, you can visit our in-house box office.
What does a family ticket include?
Our family tickets include 2 adults and 2 children (up to 16 years old)
What if I lose my ticket?
You can simply email our box office team and they will re-send you your ticket via email, or print it ready for collection on the day of your show. (email@example.com)
I can’t print my tickets out, can I show the email?
Yes, all we need to see are the seat number shown in the email (we understand not everyone has access to a printer). Or if you’re wanting them printing out, we can print them in the box office for you to collect when we’re open or just before the show. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org with any ticket issues.
Do You offer refunds?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds on tickets for our events. We will only offer refunds on tickets where we (or a production team) cancel a show.
What happens if a show is cancelled?
Although rare, this does sometimes happen. We usually contact all customers who have bought tickets to offer a refund. If an event is cancelled at the last minute, we will endeavour to contact all customers in advance.
I can’t buy the seats I want on the online box office!
The online system is fairly robust and only allows the purchase of a ticket if there isn’t someone else trying to book it at the same time. Please try alternative seats, usually the problem is that the seats are on hold because another customer is trying to buy them too.
I can’t pay for my tickets now, do you offer reservations?
Unfortunately we cannot reserve tickets for you without payment.
I’ve seen an advert for a show that isn’t listed on the Majestic Theatre’s website, how do I get tickets?
Usually we do not allow tickets to be sold from anywhere else but our own box office (under exceptional circumstances companies sometimes sell their own). If you see an advert for a show here and the tickets aren’t on sale, it could be a number of things – we aren’t able to sell tickets until we have an agreement signed with an artist, we may have removed the tickets from the online selling page on the request of an artist or the event may have even been cancelled. – We will try to keep you updates as much as possible!
Do you have disabled or step-free access?
Unfortunately at this time we do not have step free access to the theatre – It is a simple matter of funding. We are currently fundraising for a stair lift to try and support step-free access customers, but at this moment we are not able to offer this. Are there any restricted view seats at The Majestic Theatre?
No! All of our seats have a perfect view of the stage, no-matter where you sit, you can see and hear the performance – so no need to worry if you’re not in the first row.

I’m coming to see a show at the Majestic but I’m not sure where to go?
We are located in Darlington town centre. If you’re driving we have parking behind our building and over the road (which is free after six). Or by public transport we are only a short walk away from the main bus stops.

I’m wanting to come for a drink in the bar area, is it open every day?
No, this depends on what events or shows are happening on each night. As some days we can have the bar area booked for a private party, and on nights the bar area is specifically for the audience members of a show.
